The school year is young. You're probably not behind on your homework assignments (yet!). Here are a few tips for staying on top of things:
1. If you need a book for an assignment call the Information Desk asap. The librarians there will either hold a copy for you at the Circulation Desk or request a copy for you from another library. It's the best way to make sure you have the book you need when you need it! The number to put in your cell phone is 978-623-8401.
2. If you need a magazine (journal) article use our online databases. They're better than Googling the internet. We subscribe to them (read: BUY ACCESS) so you can have real articles. In many cases you'll get the fulltext, sometimes even a pdf of the pages from the print source. Go to the "Online Databases" page of our website.
3. You have procrastinated, it's 10pm and you need information for tomorrow! Don't panic. Use our 24/7 online reference service called MassAnswers. Librarians are available to help you get the information you need even when the library is closed.
Have a great year!
